Born in 1993 in Paris, Kamil Zihnioglu is a French/German photographer based in Corsica.
Kamil worked as a stringer for The Associated Press in Paris while studying photography in Paris. He graduated in 2017 with a long-term project called « Épilogue » about the 322 last days of former French President Francois Hollande.
Over the past 6 years, Kamil has continued to develop his passion for journalism and documentary. He focuses on more in-depth documentary projects in parallel with his work for newspapers such as « Le Monde ». Since 2018, Kamil works on his personal project entitled « Intraccià », which is a visual research where Kamil looks for sensitive traces to redraw an intimate and poetic map of Corsica.
